This is an 18th-century star map titled Planisphærii Coelestis Hemisphærium Septentrionale, created by the cartographer Johann Gabriel Doppelmayr. It illustrates the northern celestial hemisphere with constellations depicted as mythological figures, animals, and symbols. Such maps were both scientific tools for navigation and astronomy as well as works of art reflecting the era’s fascination with the heavens.
